Cinemage
Corporation
Cinemage Capital Corp. (CIG) was founded in 1998 and began
trading on the Alberta Stock Exchange in mid December of
1999 as a Junior Capital Pool Company. On October 9, 2001
it completed the acquisition of Advanced Cultural Technologies
Inc. (ACT) as its Major Transaction. Cinemage now trades
on the TSX Exchange under the symbol "CIG".
On completion of the take-over, Cinemage undertook a corporate
reorganization of the business activities of ACT. Business
Assets were assigned as follows:
Cinemage
Global Services (CGS), the Internet Portal established
by ACT, was acquired by Cinemage Corp. as its primary operating
business. The Portal is operated as a Virtual Mall for Digital
Content, distributed through different e-commerce models.
Advanced Cultural Technologies Inc. remains
the technology developer, evolving its Cinemage
Applications Services Provider Platform software
technology product (Cinemage System) for operation by CGS
or for sale by the Cinemage Software LP (see below).
NeTitles Production
Corp. has acquired all the content collections
developed by ACT during its start-up development stage.
A commercial Stock Photography Service is located at www.prophotos.ca
while cultural photographic collections from West Coast
Native collections, European Art and Architecture, and from
the Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in Xian, Peoples
Republic of China are being organized into a pilot
Virtual Museum. In addition to these collections,
others can be accessed through the main Cinemage Portal
CGS.
Cinemage Software Limited Partnership has
acquired the right to market the Cinemage ASP system to
clients wishing to operate their own facilities. A sample
installation is running at the Archives
Association of British Columbia , hosting two collections
and the Alberta Archives Association recently acquired the
software. The Partnership is now undertaking the marketing
of Prints-On-Demand kiosks, for the production of fine and
decorative wall art reproductions. A product
